Noel Harvey

VIP/BDC Manager

Noel Harvey has lived in the Fort Smith area his whole life. He graduated from Southside High school in 19…. Let’s just say a long time ago. He has been blessed with a strong family that all live in the area and has strong roots with the community. When not selling cars he enjoys a round of golf. He also loves singing to a crowd of just his wife and kids or as many that will listen. He wants to let all his friends know to come see him and just say “Hi”.

And here’s our Q & A:

1. Name:
Noel R. Harvey Jr.

2. Job Title, What’s your job in real people talk?:
BDC Manager. I manage a department that contains some of the most wonderful and interesting personalities. It can be the most giving and yet the most taxing a department can be and all of that in the first hour of the day. With the digital world continuously changing the way vehicles are purchased and sold it is my department’s goal to keep up with those changes.
Customers have the opportunity to shop at hundreds of dealerships all within a quarter-inch of each other on the computer screen. It is always my hope the BDC of Harry Robinson can help this dealership to stand apart from the crowd and earn the business of the local community and the digital community as well.

3. What’s our favorite thing about hrbg?
For anyone who has never worked in a business where you have the father, daughter, and in-laws all working together as well as brothers and sisters with a few cousins to boot you are missing out. Seeing how business should be shared with the family and all those around you it makes struggles easier to handle and gives you many to share the great times with. I think watching your family grow and prosper right there in front of your eyes would put a smile on my face for sure. It makes it easier for the HRBG family to truly treat you as one of their own.

4. What’s something people would be surprised to know about you?
That I grew up never really caring for cars at all, and I remember being really shy and quiet. I saw no fascination in them, and I did not work on them or collect magazines about them. The few car magazines I remember reading were strictly out of peer pressure so I could hang out with the guys and gals that were in love with them. To be this many years later and rely on something like cars as much as I do seems odd to me. Add that to the fact that I never saw myself EVER working so closely with the public to make a living in the fashion that I do just compiles the wonderment. I remember having trouble speaking to people in a group forum or individually to the point of actual fear. I look back on those moments and chuckle at the distance my life has come and how much an effect the auto industry has had on it.

5. What was your first car?
The first car that comes to mind was a 1976 Ford Mustang II. It was blue with an automatic 4 cylinder, and I like many teenagers never took good care of it. My mom bought it for me for almost 1000.00 dollars that would be 5000.00 in today’s money. I really liked that car.
